Busy, Busy, Busy
My goodness I have been super busy this month! It’s awesome and I love it, but I haven’t had much time to write on my blogs.
I’ve been busy with several ghostwriting jobs and lots of volunteer work in several ministry areas.
This month, March, alone I’ve traveled all over the state of Michigan practically. It’s been fun, but I need to hunker down and do some business on my blogs and such.
All of the traveling started in February actually. I took a group of 9 students, along with two other adults, to the Acquire the Fire event in Pontiac on the 13th and 14th. Then the 21st, Jeff Karlie and I went to Traverse City to the first of 4 Big Ticket Tours, followed by another one on the 28th in Grand Rapids in which Karlie and I helped out with and went Prom Dress shopping!
March rolled around and I helped at the women’s Walk to Emmaus weekend in Indian River, the 5th through the 8th. Then March 15 thru 18, I attended a leadership conference, again in Grand Rapids. And then yesterday, Jeff and I headed to the Flint area for the third Big Ticket Tour and the final one will be next Saturday in Lansing.
Whew! Not to mention, the 3 hour car ride to the thumb area with Karlie to get our hair done by the most awesome hair stylist ever who recently moved away from us.
After the final Big Ticket Tour next Saturday, I hope things slow down some, and they should, with volunteer work. I am involved as a volunteer with the Big Ticket Festival coming up in June and then the Chosen Youth Conference coming up on May 30 in Sault Ste. Marie Canada and then in November locally. But, the bulk of the traveling will subside, except for the trip to Canada.
Anyway, I guess my point in posting this was to let you all know I am still alive and I am still in business! If you need an extra hand (maybe I need one! LOL) just let me know. I am here for you!
